Spring ??? .......................NOT

Warm sunshine, lovely weather, you can even imagine the birds singing, the flowers blooming colouring up the whole field.....bringing smiles to people's winter ridden faces.....Spring....The coming of a season that brings salvation to mankind. Ok...i might be exaggerating a little...haha, but still who doesn't look froward to spring.....

I was on the 290 (the number of my bus) on the way to uni, headphones on while taking a nap basking under the first day of spring, the first day of warm sunshine. Around 10 minutes before i reach uni, i woke up to the sight of the first flowers blooming, it really picked me up, finally seeing some life in this dead winter.

When i got to uni the flowers there were already blooming left and right, red blue, purple....there was hardly a breath of chilly wind that day, not a hint of rain, not a single dark cloud on that endless blue sky.....My spirits were high, and i was looking forward to spring once again...

2 days later....
i am stuck at home again, too cold to even move let alone eat, jacket wrapped around me, basically clinging to myself. Hopes dashed, for 2 days all i did was sit around in front of my comp. It had to happen, it rained and rained and guess what??? continued raining....you can hear the wind howling even with all the windows shut, sounding as if they were taunting me laughing at me....

Going out is a hassle when that happens, if your wear long pants it gets wet. If you wear shorts the cold water would just splash over your feet and the wind like adding insult to injury makes you shiver with that chill.

It just so haven't been spring so far....
Just hoping it will get better soon, hope that the plants will have their share of water and mother nature understands and bring the spring rain away.......

Give us back our sunshine........
