Me lastest obsession

I want a guitar!!!!

Homer on my guitar. <3 <3 <3

Things that make me happy...

tickets to a distant life

suan le...
I thought this time you'd wait for me to go together at least, to make up of what you've done.
Bet you didnt know what you did.
Guess Im just not that important to you as you are to me...
Why treat someone so good and I still have to pray and hope to be treated well in return?
Im of a good and sincere intention.
Do I really need to stop talking to you just so I wouldnt be sad and disappointed over and over again?
You've had enough chances...

Its June... so soon.

I dont want my birthday to come so soon....... T.T
I mean, I do want to turn 21 but... I wish it was still last year.

These might help cheer me up...

1.
deceived and lost in distance, trust and whats left within,
she needs the shine, not from the amour nor from the stars above.
just like 'happy ending' this one ends with a 'g'
whatever that may be, she just cant let it be...
a long letter, a scroll, a telegraphic mail that speaks...
or something else thats more simple, if only she continues to believe...

2.
strings of happiness, sorrow and pain...
a magical player, combined emotions carved.
it starts the play with a 'g' and ends with a 'g'
believed to give her strength in the many ways she sees.

3.
She smells, she drools, she could stare at it all night.
Its magnifique the scent, of her favourite celeb.

4.
something colourful, of milky spectrum traits
milky pink blue and orange, or even green or beigh.
be it a backpack, a purse or a big one that wont age...
jackets hats or heels, earrings on that magazine page.

5.
A tiny stick to steal and store.
4Gs is cute Fi has it I saw.
her's is yellow, I dont mind some other color
as long as its tiny, cute and useful for storage!

6.
A compilation of music,
meds to mend her soul.
A compilation of food,
meds to mend her body.
A compilation of places,
of those she wished to go...
A compilation of company,
those whose love was told...

2 months of work

Finally Im done with promoting iPhones. Now I could be like some techie pro in iPhones right now. lol! Throughout the past 2 months, I get to spend like 8 hours per day with an iPhone. It's like so cool. All i do at work was to be on Facebook, chatting and playing with fb applications and really cool iPhone applications. That is of course, when there are no customers around...
The customers ask the stupidest questions. Its like when i was working at Cablecom, the Maxis dealer at Perak Road, its like a shop lot, so non-Maxis users normally dont step into the shop, thus making my job really hard yet simple at the same time. Its like I dont get a lot of commission cause the place is deserted and very few people step in, and the iPhone business is really bad so i was complaining and all cause the other promoters who were based at shops in QueensBay Mall or Gurney Plaza have like more customers and all. Its less bored, plus more commission. Then again, at Perak Road, I dont have to do work cause the people who come in are usu sally old and loyal customers, those that I see every week, then I get to wear hells everyday to work cause I dont have to stand all day or to walk around at all. All i do was to sit down and wait till I see a face that I've never seen before then only I get up from my seat and introduce the Maxis iPhone plan to them. And I only have to talk to like, the average is 6 or 7 people per day. The remaining 5 hours at work was for me to Facebook, read my book and sms people, another hour is to act like Im actually doing work when the managers and supervisors walk in and out of the shop, the other hour is to talk to the sales team there and ignore childish-17 year old-smoking-lazy kids who failed over and over again to get my contacts through friendster, facebook or even my phone number. lol! Anyway the place is quite near my house so I normally take my 1 hour dinner break home for dinner. So actually I should be really happy working there but Im not cause Im bored. I know me, I like roadshows and fairs, exciting and challenging environments, and i get bored easily. So I was complaining and at last they picked me to join their iPhone rover team, to promote at really stupid places like the Sri Weld food court near jetty(it was super hot over there and its like a freakin hawker centre where we have to approach customers when they're halfway eating their Hokkien Mee), New World Park food court place, Tesco, beside food court as well=.=... then Prangin Mall main arena(that was the most practical, less approached customers but more buyers. just 2 buyers actually =.=). And they suggested other places like QEII, golf clubs, fitness centres and even Coffee Island =.=. lucky none of them worked out so we had to stick with boring places.
Anyway I was talking about how the customers who walk in to the Perak road Maxis dealer shop ask the stupidest questions... the whole shop inside and out says MAXIS. The whole shop is green in colour and they dont deal with anything relevant with the other operators right? So there was this once, a customer came in and said...
"here got sell top up card?"
'yeah... can I have your number please?'
"016..."
'er... miss, we only do Maxis, Hotlink top ups...'
"huh? what lahhhh why phone shop also cannot top up for people, how to be a phone shop!"
'erm... miss you can try the Digi store right across the street, thanks...' =.=

Its very dangerous to work at Perak Road cause most of the time, the people who walk in are loan sharks. They walk in and I just did my job to promote, and when they decided to buy, they dig out rolls and rolls of cash from their pockets and place in on the table. It was kinda scary. Its like i've never held that much cash in my hands before. One came in and bought two 16GB iphones using the highest package available just to get the free phone. so He didnt pay that much cash upfront. He gave it to this girl who wore super heavy make up and super skimpy clothes, who sings at "ko tai-s" late at night, who doesnt even know what an email is. She came in the shop the other day, pushing the phones into my arms, asking me why she cant play games on the iPhone =.=. I was like, "you cant play games cause the games arent downloaded yet, and you have to download them yourself through the apps store, I can teach you how to create an iTunes account!" and i spent 3 really patient hours teaching her how to create an iTunes account step by step, and how to connect to the wifi at her house, and how to sms =.=.
Then the other came in and wanted to buy 2 iPhones together, and I told him to take the 8GB ones cause I know it'll probably end up like the first case and true enough, one was for his 'wife' (i put inverted commas cause she looks way too young to be his wife but i just kept quiet), another one for his 13 year old daughter =.=. brought 5 rolls or cash, RM1000 each, for two 8GB iPhones selling at RM2540 per iPhone, plus accessories and all, he paid like RM5300 or something upfront. He wanted to give me a RM30 tip but, better not lah, its scary.
90% of the customers who walk in smell like smoke. some even walk in with the cigarette still lit, and I had to spare half a bottle of air freshener to cover the smell. Not like im not used to the smoke already, throughout my 2 working months I've been exposed to too many smokers. I told them they would die early if they smoke, but then again I think I'll die sooner, cause of secondhand smoke.
Then some customers walk in smelling like they've never showered in ages.
Some they come in with their eyes red, and when they talk to you they started twitching, you know that they're on drugs, even if its like 4 in the afternoon.
One had mental problem. he comes in every morning, paraniod and thinking that there's someting wrong with his handphone when there actually is nothing wrong with it, he dresses weirdly and he smiles non-stop. Totally freaky when he looks at you.
Lets skip the perverts who tried to "buy me" along with the iPhone. F them.

Okay I think I talk to much. This post has been in my drafts for like a week, so I should just let the pictures do the talking.

Me, Lydia and Jason. From Cablecom, Maxis Perak Road.

Us caught in a jam on the bridge. We didnt have to start work so early cause we were stuck there for more than an hour, plus we needed food eh! Hehehehe...

Felicia and I. ==) Northern Point, Maxis Prangin Mall.
Felicia, Me, Ze and Jason.

This was taken just 2 days before our contract ended. This is half of the team who werent fired from their job. We were there to give training to the dealer shop owners of the northern region in Malaysia, they include the shop owners of places in the outskirts, like all those tiny islands and all. Im not very sure. lol! Anyways, I was the only girl there, I guess Im approachable and somewhat as knowledgable as guys on the applications and functions of the iPhone. You know the gender stereotype says that girls promote and do sales, attract customers, while guys settle the heavier work load, like carrying stuff, settling techie stuff that requires research and experience to understand how to work certain applications and fuctions and all.
But its true. As much as I want to deny it, I was on the iPhone rover team running from places to places, and people listen to me more than they listen to the guys. its like, 30% of the people I approach rejected my offer on introducing the phone and the package, while 60% of the people they approach rejects them. The supervisors say it has always been the case, and I seem to be the only girl on the team. hmm...

Anyway I dont miss the job, I got sick of promoting it already, but I certainly do miss the iPhone. Its such a great phone, if only they would sell the demo units to me for half the price, I'd take it! And Im really sick of promoting it already, so I wont write all the good points and bad points of the iPhone here, I'll just say that its a great phone. Period. ==D
