oh they do have a whole bunch of talent alright....not to forget loonies........some absolutely ridisulous people who damn well have GUTS!!!!! to go on stage when they completely SUCK!!!!!

This is well as you can see Subin's 1st digital single, it only has 3 songs in it but it's all nice....(youtube : 사랑은 봄처럼 )


8eight who got their name from the infinity sign (turn the"8" side ways and you get the sign) has lots of nice songs in their latest album as well....(youtube : Without a heart by 8eight)


I don't know what her name is but well the album is called memory, she sings ballads and has a good voice...up and coming artist...keep a look out for her....(youtube : Paradise by memory)


There's Lena Park too with quite a decent amount of good songs in her album, unfortunately I don't have her album photo....

This is a short film called "Sydney in Love" introduced by Yong Xin...it's korean, doesn't have subtitles but just by watching it you'll get what it means...the song is really nice(it's an english song)

Seriously, people should consider opening restaurants or something that opens throughout the night for late sleepers, i bet they can earn a lot, why don't they SEEEEE that....jeez...

Treat your waitresses nicer and with a smile

Some people might remember me telling them about the thingy with my favourite restaurant and the waitress, you know the extra rice when I told her I was hungry thingy...yup....it happened again just a different waitress this time....

So I was on my way to uni around lunch time and had to grab something to eat....guess where and what popped into my mind ==) Jajang myuen (Korean food) at my fav restaurant!!!!!
Headed along the ever busy and familiar Liverpool Street, down the small alley where it is located....had a growing anticipation for the food and also to see if anything has changed at the place, but to my delight nothing has, not the setting, not a single wine bottle out of place and those comfy cushions all still there!!!

The first thought was if the "sajang-nim" (boss) is in or not, 2nd was if the waitress is still the same one ( cause they usually change after around 3 months ).... I would soon find out as i step into the restaurant finding the boss' usual seat empty, the next was the waitress behind the counter....
She was talking to one of the cooks when i stepped into the restaurant, with a vision partially blocked she said her usual greeting (annyong*something* not the word "hi = annyong haseyo" but "welcome" )

The waitress was about to come out from behind the counter to pass me the menu when she leaned back to peer out from behind the counter for the 2nd time, taking another look at me again....This time her eyes flickered with recognition, said something to the cook about me, which I do not understand and was kinda surprised but greeted me with a more familiar friendly smile, maybe it was because I haven't been there for a long time or because my hair is curly now...lol

When the kimchi dishes came, I noticed a new extra plate which I've never seen before...it was in slices, yellow in colour and looked like something sold in a dried fruit store ( ok I don know what I am blabbing about but it's different alright ==P ) I didn't dwell on whether it was purposely given by her or just an extra dish they are serving.....

Another thing was the Jajang myuen...my goodness it was like 3 large packets of laksa or maybe more in one bowl....my stomach felt suddenly full, but I finished it anyway cause it's nice and not good to waste...hehe....before I actually finished my noodles she took out two small round thing on a plate for me, I was surprised as I did not order anything else (it was plums) and I thought to myself, wow now they are serving fruits for dessert...hahaha.....till I saw the other 3 tables and noticed they have one less kimchi dish and NO plums (saw her giving plums to her friends that came to look for her, plums might be her own, not from the restaurant)....making me suspect that she even added more noodles for me...lol

See...what did I tell you, treat the waitresses nicer, have a familiar place you go to, and you'll definitely get something out of it ==D Even if it's only for this time, I am happy, enough to make my day....I didn't forget to thank her and asked her to say hi to the boss for me before i left... ==D

B2B - Back to Blogging

It's been a loooong while since I've posted anything up, i know it's my fault I've been lazy but now that I am back in Sydney well posts from me will come a lot more frequently....Sorry....

Spent a really extremely long holiday back in Penang, it's been so nice and relaxing that i didn't feel like coming back to the Land Down Under...Lots of slacking but it's been eventful, met lots of my primary school friends again and new interesting people at the same time....

It's always great meeting former Bing Hwa mates, even though we didn't used to know each other or wasn't really close it always feels nice seeing another person back from primary school...

Though I've been dreading to come back, somehow the hot sun and cool wind feels nice and familiar...feels....homey....
The creaking of the elavator and the "ge-dung" sound it makes when it reacahes the destination reminded me of home in Aaustralia...
Not much has changed in the past 3 months...soon I'll be back to the normal routine here in Aus...but hopefully with much more purpose....
Oh and i missed my Annie...always watching over me with a smile while I am sleeping ==)

Thanx to everyone for the awesome holiday....For those who lost ang pau money to me, those who treataed me, those who drove me, those who dota-ed with me, those who have always been by my side....THANX.....

Dreams

Has anyone made any new year's resolution?

I'll turn 21 this year, should i just look at reality and limit my dreams....or should i make my dreams reality?

Remember when we were young, we dreamt a lot, flying to the moon, living in a world we created ourself, wanting to be this or that...

What happened to all those dreaming? When did we start to let our head ground us with reality? Where was the wings we wanted on our backs so we can fly around the world?

Just because we've seen, just because we've learnt and just because we know....it doesn't mean we can't.


Therefore, my new year's resolution will be to continue dreaming, while dealing with reality and continue one step at a time towards......a dream come true...

PS : I have not been a good person, have not been the best son, have not been the best brother or cousin......i promise, i am working towards it.

Not forgetting my path to Japan and Korea too ==D

16. still have problems remembering all the cousins name (outside of my fathers side) and don't know how to address this uncle or that aunty. Applies to like my grandfather's brother's son adn their family...my grandfather's other wife's family etc.....

Happy New Year

It's another year gone, another year of experience, another year of lessons learned, hopefully I've become a better person from everything I've gained throughout the year.
How did the past year treat you? Did all of you have a good year overall?
Even if it wasn't the best year you've had, don't be sad as it is the hardships that build and shape us into what we are...be strong as another new year of uncertainty faces us, but how we deal with it, how we overcome it and the outcome will usually be in our hands.

If I've offended someone or caused pain throughout the year, I sincerely apologise.

Throughout the year, I've met new people, reunited with old friends, supported by my ever present family members, and also a special person who've supported me and was always there....I thank them, for giving me the life I have, bringing me smiles, being there at times when i needed them most...though we are no longer what we are 2008 would be etched in my brain as memories i hold dear....

I wish you all a better 2009 than this year...

Can't think of much to say, a lil jaded from all the meetings with everyone...but nonetheless it's always very nice to see everyone of you again....
May our friendship carry on from this year to the next....

Darling....

Come to think of it 11 months is a short time, but the past 11 months will forever be etched in my memory as it has been filled with all kinds of emotions I've never experienced. It was never perfect but it was as close to perfection as a circle is round.
I have always been someone you can lean on, and for these times I hope I've been someone you can really rely on.
There were times that put tears in your eyes, but I hope it was the smiles that outnumber the tears.

I wish I could have given reasons that doesn't sound like excuses but all I have to say is already said, thinking about it and making more out of it will really be an excuse.
What "is" is now "was", does not mean what will be is certain, what may not might not be never.
There is plenty I wish I could have done better, there is plenty I should have done better...but for you, I really have put in my all.

You might hate me one day, but I still hope it is a smile that comes to you face instead of a frown.
I don't know why it is or why it has to be, but right now what is best for you is not to wait, as what is best for me is to walk.
If I can't give you my all then I don't want to give you anything.
If you are just getting 3 quarters of me, and I get all of you, I'd rather not have you because that isn't my all....
If brushing my teeth comes to mind the first thing I wake up and you second, it is as if I have cheated on you.
If it is going to sadden you throughout that period, I'd rather make you cry now and see you laugh later on.

You might say it is wrong the way I love, but it is me a part of me that i cannot change.
If there is one more chance to turn back time, I would have chose not to be with you so I don't have to see you in such pain now.
It is my fault that things turn out like that, I wish I could give a little more but I have given my all, or maybe it is just I that have been the lesser one. Maybe I have overestimated my own capacity, maybe it is I who is weak.


Farewell is inevitable, but what lies ahead is something we have to search for....
and I hope whatever lies ahead treats you well, i hope life treats you kind.
While you put this into your past I hope the future brings you happiness in a bunch....compared to the little joy i brought to your life in this short period of time...

A post at last

I know I know...it's been such a looooooong time since I've updated anything on the blog. I have been way too busy and tired.
Ever since I've been back, have been meeting up with some friends, relatives etc...

Since my cousin's wedding has been looming(well it was the week before and just yesterday) a lot of my relatives has flown here from Australia and Johor, and i ended up sleeping on the sofa for well as long as they were here...I only had 2 days to sleep on my own bed ==S...All's fine though, the wedding brought lots of happiness to everyone, I was super duper excited as well even though it isn't mine....

My cousin was the bride while the groom originates from KL, that explains why 2 ceremonies were held at 2 different places and times.
During those times I've been camera man, video person, part of the "jie mei"( you know the ones that plays all those games on the guys when the groom comes over to pick up the bride) or all at once.

Some of the games were really really embarassing to play, hahaha...my uncles even added a few more especially for the groom to perform. ( I've taken lots of photos but have non of them yet as it's my sister's and someone else's cameras, will upload them when i get them)

Everyone really had a lot of fun, there were smiles, hugs, cheering everywhere....my dad even got drunk during the dinner at night ==D...kinda embarassing at times but hell, who gives...He behaved at the KL dinner though which is held at Sunway Resort...though it was my sister's boyfriend's turn to get tipsy along with my uncles...

One good news came after the other...we've already known that one of my Australian cousins is getting married. A day after this wedding (2nd daughter of aunty Bee Kheng's daughter was the one who got married) another one of my cousin's ( the youngest daughter of aunty Bee Kheng's) boyfriend proposed on a dinner/gathering....They'll probably get married the year after...
That leaves aunty Bee Kheng's eldest daughter who does not have a boyfriend yet, or she is hiding it from us ==D....but for the mom who is worrying( since she turned 30 this year), worry not because when the bride and groom threw the flower ( you know the one that's always on the movie with a bunch of girls eager to catch it behind)....my cousin was just standing with the hands out not really going for it, but it was all meant to be, as the flower hit the baloons and dropped right on her face!!!! ==D even if she didn't want to catch it she had no choice!!!!!

Sorry if somethings i said aren't understandable, i am still pretty tired from all the running aound, driving to and from KL and late nights...but yeah it was really fun, and there'll be more next year and the year after....and maybe another year after!!!! ==D

I can't believe i am actually going to be boarding the plane back to Malaysia......PENANGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG here i comeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's only been 4 months since i left Penang but honestly, truthfully, this is my first time actually wanting to go back home so so so so so so so so so so badly....it's been a heck of a 4months that i just wanna collapse onto my bed and sleep and relax all day...Hanging around with mom, dad and my sisters a little more....

I am actually feeling nervous of going back...i don't know why, as if i was a kid going up a roller coaster ride for the very first time.... ==)
