and it's called, laughter yoga

so this afternoon, after lunch, i went to my parents room to ask if we are going out for dinner. the newspaper was on the table so i flipped through the pages. it has been a very long while since i read a newspaper. Avril's face was on the front page, must be about PAS wanting to ban her concert here again. so i read and was cursing the news article when my mom came and flipped through the pages that i was reading and said "did u see this article?"

it was about laughter yoga.

a new way of yoga exercise. might not be new anymore but its new to me so i'l just say that it's new anyway. i read down as my mom was showing me what her yoga instructor was teaching her in the past few yoga classes. she asked me to follow her and do what she did. so im asking you, to do it too when u read along this post.
  1. first you stick your tongue out really far and stretch it downwards. yoga is all about stretching isnt it? hehee!
  2. bare your teeth
  3. then u open your eyes real big and look up. look really up! stretching your eye ball muscles.
  4. then you hold both of your hands up till eye level and do something like a bear bearing its claws.
  5. then you take a deep breath
  6. and u breathe it all out from your mouth one shot. do it hard. do it loud. and do it proud.
  7. then u imagine somebody else doing it.
i didnt have to imagine. i was lookin at my mom when she did it. hahahahahha!!! and she's trying to make me do it. it wasnt something she came up with. it was true. it was on today's newspaper. hahahahhaa

the article started with...
"let's all pretend we're lions. stick your tongue out and bare your claws. now roar people... roar with laughter!!"
"laughter yoga is a matter of faking it till you make it"
your body cant tell the difference between real and fake laughter"

no wonder faking laughter works as well as real laughter. hahaha!!

says so in the newspaper, they dont just use the lion roar method. they use the chicken method too, where they were squawking at each other while simultaneously flapping their arms around madly like chicken wings. they also use some teh tarik method, which i totally do not understan at all. it actually combines laughter exercises with breathing exercises. according to the article. ==D

and people pay to go do silly stuffs in yoga classes. i could hav opened a class n ask people to pay me n i can teach them to jump around like sea lions, make dugong faces and stuff. just so if people laugh. i get paid. hahahaha!!!! or better still, sit at home, breathe... breathe... breathe... and start laughing on your own to your self. do it at least once a week. chances of you being stress-free, tension-free and being happy, is higher than the chances of going crazy. so dont worry. if you worry too much, ask a friend, a brother or a sister, or even your mom to do it together with u. ==D all u have to do is to spend one hour a week, laughing ==)
