im supposed to be studyin. but im not. exam tmr. no biggie. haha. 1 subject. 10% only. no essays (i think) life in my final sem is so nice ==D
but time is crawling. counting down to 57 seconds. seconds crawl slower than time in july. how i wish i cuz get the time manipulation ability on the heroes application in facebook. might make me feel better. hahahaha
so....
last night we went to this new Vietnamese restaurant in Egate with uncle Bernard, aunt Suzanne n Ivy. just to try out the new restaurant.
the price is a bit too expensive but it was on a 50% discount promotion on all foods for customers who did reservations, so... the price was okay. i expected the food to be really really really good but it was just okay. hahahaha...
the decorations on the food is very nice. the for-display-only flowers and grass took almost half of the size of the dish. the egg-skin spring rolls u see down there, well it was actually two dishes served in one.
food:- top to bottom
- beef + koay-teow noodles + grass in normal clear soup -
- curry(or rendang, i don remember) chicken + hard unpolished rice + long beans -
- thin skinned spring rolls with grass and a prawn each + more grass decors -
- laksa noodle + mince (dunno what meat) + taugeh + green grass + glass noodles -
- grass + more grass in a deep fried skin spring roll on shredded bamboo (it was supposed to look like bird's nest) + taugeh + more grass -
-egg-skinned spring rolls with the same fillings as all the spring rolls available + grass decors -
drinks:
- yucky tasteless lemon grass tea ==D -
people:- clockwise from top left, hidden or not
-mom- -dad- -uncle Bernard- -aunt Suzanne- -ivy- -me- -calvin- -the other girl-
dessert? hmm
way-too-sweet cup of mustard-cream dont-know-whats with burnt sugar on top.
whipped cream with a piece of extra salty crispy foo-chok-like fried thingy which i dont know if we shud be eating it or is it for decorations only. hahahaha...
apple pie. as big as the top view of a canned drink. plate size? slightly bigger than the width, smaller than the heigth of an A4 size paper.
